Birmingham Airport issues statement over 'bomb threat'

Birmingham Airport and Heathrow Airport faced significant disruption following a series of bomb hoaxes. Birmingham Airport confirmed that emergency services and partners initiated immediate processes to manage the alert. Police have launched a probe to determine if the campaign, which caused chaos across Europe, was state-sponsored. Passengers affected by the incident at Birmingham Airport are unlikely to receive compensation, as the airport maintained that it acted immediately to ensure safety during the security threat.
