Australia v Fiji: men’s Rugby League World Cup – live

Australia maintained their unbeaten record at the Rugby League World Cup, defeating Fiji Bati 36-22 at Suncorp Stadium. Tom Trbojevic secured a hat-trick for the Kangaroos, while Semi Valemei also scored three tries for a fearless Fiji side. Despite the result, Fiji's performance highlighted the tournament's value. Meanwhile, the competition's harsh pool structure means a Tonga victory, combined with a significant England win over Papua New Guinea, could allow McDermott’s side to reach the semi-finals.
