Burno Fernandes admits Michael Carrick was right to drop him in fiery interview

Bruno Fernandes admitted Michael Carrick was correct to drop him last month after the United skipper had criticised the manager's tactics. Speaking after a remarkable 3-2 comeback victory over Roma at Old Trafford, Fernandes conceded he was not performing. The win, sparked by two Fernandes penalties and two goals from Matheus Cunha, could potentially save the embattled Carrick's job. Fernandes stated that if the benching was punishment for his words, it was entirely right.
