Celebrity loses injunction bid but will stay anonymous pending appeal

An undisclosed public figure, referred to as PPT, has been refused an injunction to prevent The Guardian and ITN from publishing allegations of inappropriate and exploitative sexual activities with young women. While the Royal Court of Justice denied the request, the individual will remain anonymous pending an appeal. PPT's legal representatives have denied that he utilised his celebrity status or position of power to forge relationships with young women or engage in the reported misconduct.
