Council leader to stand down after health scares

Labour leader Tudor Evans has announced his decision to stand down after thirty-eight years in politics, stating it is time to prioritise his health and family following health scares. Similarly, Jane Dodds is stepping down as leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats after nearly nine years. Dodds, the sole Liberal Democrat elected during the May Senedd elections, remarked that now is the appropriate time to handover the leadership role to a successor within the party.
