Disney Dream departure live as musical and fireworks expected

The Disney Dream cruise ship is scheduled to sail away from Liverpool this evening. Hundreds of spectators have gathered at Pier Head to witness the departure of the vessel. The event is expected to feature musical performances and a fireworks display. Local residents reported hearing loud bangs across the city tonight, which were confirmed to be the fireworks accompanying the ship's exit as it departs from the city's waterfront for its next destination.
