Documentary to examine 'polarising public figure' of JK Rowling

The BBC has announced a major documentary focusing on JK Rowling, describing her as one of Britain's most polarising public figures. Scheduled for screening 30 years after the first Harry Potter book's publication, the film examines her trajectory. Although she achieved global fame as the author of the Harry Potter series, she has become a divisive figure in recent years. This shift is attributed to her public stance regarding transgender rights and her current societal impact.
