A former Strictly professional has claimed Amy Dowden has not been doing a very good job following her return to the show after a cancer battle. Dowden and partner Chris Appleton were the first couple eliminated this series after ending up in the dance-off. This marks the second consecutive year she has been the first professional to leave the BBC competition, having previously finished first out last year while paired with Thomas Skinner in the bottom two.
