Family pay tribute to grandfather-of-five Tube worker, 61, punched to death by passenger who missed his train as attacker is locked up in psychiatric hospital

Jorge Ortega, a 61-year-old Elizabeth Line worker and grandfather of five, died after being struck by a single punch. The attacker, 29-year-old Ayodele Jamgbadi, reportedly lashed out after missing his train. Jamgbadi has since been detained in a psychiatric hospital. The family of the victim stated they wish to remember Jorge for the life he lived rather than the circumstances of his death, following the violent incident involving the passenger on the transport network.
