Flights diverted after drones flown near airport

Unauthorised drone activity in restricted airspace near Jersey Airport caused significant disruption to UK flights. The incidents resulted in three flights being diverted, with further services from Heathrow, Gatwick, and Southampton being cancelled. Jersey Airport confirmed that the diversions were a direct consequence of the unauthorised drone activity reported in the area. Authorities managed the situation as flights from multiple major UK hubs were affected by the security breach within the airport's controlled airspace.
