Footage of powerboat crash shown to inquest

Suffolk Coroner's Court has reviewed footage of a fatal powerboat crash involving Brett Duncan in July 2025. The inquest heard that Duncan died after his hydroplane collided with a stationary houseboat. Evidence presented to the court indicates that the racer was travelling at 70mph at the time of the accident. It was further noted during the proceedings that Duncan failed to turn his vessel sufficiently to avoid the collision with the stationary boat.
