Frank McAvennie questions grief-stricken Auston Trusty’s length of time off at Celtic following death of his father

Frank McAvennie questioned the duration of Auston Trusty's absence from Celtic following the death of the defender's father. Trusty travelled to the USA for the funeral while Celtic suffered a 2-0 defeat against Falkirk. After facing a furious backlash from Celtic fans, the former Parkhead player backtracked on his claims, which had previously included a 'woke' label. The controversy centred on the length of time the American centre back took off to grieve his loss.
