Fraud-accused Southern Water boss appears in court

Matthew Wright, the former boss of Southern Water, has appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court facing charges of fraud conspiracy. Wright, aged 60, appeared alongside three former colleagues to address allegations regarding a plan to manipulate water quality tests. He is one of seven ex-employees accused of involvement in this scheme. The group faced the criminal charges for the first time on Friday as part of the ongoing legal proceedings concerning the company's testing practices.
