Golf club's former buildings could go for homes plan

Plans to construct 206 homes on the former Moore Place Golf Club site have been rejected following more than 1,000 lodged objections. Although outline permission for the residential development was granted in February 2025 and the golf club has since vacated the premises, the proposal faced significant opposition. The development aimed to utilise the former buildings and grounds of the club, but the high volume of objections led to the current rejection of the plans.
