Government to announce long-awaited decision on Jackdaw gas field

The UK Labour government is expected to announce the long-awaited approval of the Jackdaw gas field. Following months of speculation regarding its future, the North Sea project, situated 150 miles east of Aberdeen, is likely to be authorised by ministers.
