The Union Square shopping centre in Aberdeen has been placed on the market for £175m. The site was previously acquired by the US private equity firm Lone Star in March 2024 for £111m, although the motivation for this current sale remains unknown. Knight Frank's Charlie Barke highlighted the city's positive economic outlook, noting that recent support for the Rosebank and Jackdaw oil and gas fields further enhances the future prospects of the location.
