'I made a joke about Victoria Beckham on TV - she immediately contacted me when it aired'

Comedian Katherine Ryan has discussed the consequences of a joke she made regarding Victoria Beckham on Have I Got News For You in late 2025. The segment triggered numerous complaints and caused offence to the former Spice Girl. Ryan revealed that Victoria Beckham contacted her immediately after the programme aired to address the matter. This interaction followed the public fallout and the reported offence caused by the comedian's remarks during the televised broadcast last year.
