In a separate account, Tara Proffitt revealed she recorded a confession regarding the abuse she and her late mother, Alison Connolly, suffered from her grandfather. Proffitt explained that the abuse remained unreported for years due to her fear of being separated from her mother following the tragic events surrounding her death.
