Iceland to become first UK high street retailer to open shop in Falkland Islands

Iceland is set to become the first UK high street retailer to establish a presence in the Falkland Islands. Launching in early December, the supermarket chain will open a store in the capital, Stanley, through a partnership with local retailer Kelper Stores. Boss Richard Walker stated he is proud to be backing Britain with this expansion. This move marks a significant milestone as the first time a major UK high street brand has entered the British territory.
