Urgent search as huge passenger ship with 240 people on board missing in Indonesia

Indonesian officials have launched a major search and rescue operation for the Virgo Transport 8, a passenger ship that lost contact in the Java Sea. The vessel was travelling from East Java to South Kalimantan on Borneo island during bad weather. There are up to 241 people on board the missing ship. While a communication failure occurred on Sunday, there have been no reports of casualties as the urgent operation continues to locate the vessel.
