Man held over alleged hit-and-run after collision

Two separate road traffic incidents have been reported. In Myrtle Road on Wednesday, a 26-year-old man died at the scene following a collision with an ambulance. Meanwhile, in Salford, a man in his 50s sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car. Police have detained a man in connection with the Salford incident, which is being treated as an alleged hit-and-run. Both cases are currently under investigation by the relevant police authorities.
