Man United 'shield' could be stripped away by Man City Premier League expulsion

Manchester United could face increased pressure to challenge for the Premier League title if rivals Manchester City are expelled from the division over financial charges. Additionally, the club may be set for a transfer windfall as Real Madrid and various Premier League clubs show interest in a £25m player. This follows the summer 2024 departure of Scott McTominay to Napoli after twenty-two years at Old Trafford, as he is now linked with a potential exit.
