Miriam Margolyes Sparks Criticism Over Comments About Andi Peters' Skin Colour

Miriam Margolyes is facing criticism following her appearance on This Morning to discuss her book, Miriam’s Full English. During the interview with Christine Lampard and Andi Peters, Margolyes imitated Lampard's Northern Irish lilt before questioning Peters about his background. The actress sparked a racism row after using an offensive slang term to describe Peters' skin colour. This incident led to the intervention of This Morning bosses after the live ITV daytime broadcast on Thursday morning.
