Mother and daughter both killed in grizzly bear attack, Canadian authorities confirm

Conservation officers in British Columbia have confirmed that Jenny Balcarras, 48, and her daughter, Selah Reed, 20, were killed in a grizzly bear attack. The women were reported missing on Sunday and their bodies were later discovered near a trail close to their home near Bella Coola. Authorities believe that more than one grizzly bear may have been involved in the savage incident. Search teams located the victims late on Tuesday following the weekend disappearance.
