Jennifer Balcarras, aged 48, and her 20-year-old daughter, Selah Reed, were killed in a suspected grizzly bear attack in Canada. The pair were on a casual walk a short distance from the home of Ms Balcarras when the incident occurred. Their bodies were discovered on the Snooka West Trail located in Bella Coola, British Colombia. The attack resulted in the deaths of both women during what was intended to be a routine stroll in the area.
