No explosive devices found after car bomb scare

Wesley Thomas Fletcher, a 35-year-old resident of Leopold Street in Belfast, has appeared in court and been remanded in custody following the discovery of 17 improvised explosive devices. In a separate incident, a suspected car bomb led to the evacuation of nearby homes. However, subsequent searches conducted by authorities confirmed that no explosive devices were actually present at the scene of the car bomb scare, bringing the specific operation to a close.
