Use AI for investing at your own risk, warns watchdog

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned British citizens that using AI chatbots for investment advice may leave them without protection if losses occur. Recent research indicates that four in five inexperienced investors have utilised AI tools to assist with financial decisions. Furthermore, a survey targeting 18-40-year-olds revealed that 56% of those who own or are considering investments trust AI tools, despite the lack of a safety net provided by the financial watchdog.
