Parents who killed their baby have sentences increased

Klevi Pirjani, 38, and Nivalda Pirjani, 35, have had their prison sentences increased after murdering their baby, Miguel, in 2024. The couple battered their 13-week-old son to death, leading to initial sentences earlier this year. These original penalties were subsequently deemed unduly lenient, resulting in the court raising the jail terms for both parents.
