Phoebe Waller-Bridge offers London flat rent-free to early-career writers

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the 41-year-old actress and creator of Fleabag, has purchased a flat in London to provide rent-free accommodation for early-career writers. This generous donation is part of a new theatre initiative known as Writers’ Block. The project aims to support emerging talent by removing the financial burden of housing in the capital, allowing writers to focus on their creative work through the resources provided by this specific professional development programme.
