Reform UK set to announce new leader in Wales - live updates

Nigel Farage has appointed Helen Jenner, the former deputy leader and Senedd representative for Bangor Conwy Mon, as the new Reform UK leader in Wales. She replaces Dan Thomas, who resigned following his arrest on suspicion of assault and controlling or coercive behaviours, allegations he denies. Farage dismissed the leadership change as a bump in the road, stating the party will carry on as if nothing happened, maintaining stability after the sudden departure of the previous regional leader.
