Ricky Gervais, 65, says he will marry partner of 44 years Jane Fallon, 65 - but ONLY to avoid inheritance tax on their combined £142m fortune

Ricky Gervais has dismissed claims that he intentionally snubbed the BBC's 25th anniversary special for The Office, stating he was simply unavailable and instead shared memories via YouTube. Additionally, the 65-year-old comedian revealed he is willing to marry his partner of 44 years, Jane Fallon, to avoid inheritance tax on their combined £142m fortune. Despite previously swearing off marriage, Gervais intends to wed Fallon before he dies to protect their significant financial assets.
