Russell T Davies criticises BBC boss's 'clumsy' AI Doctor Who comments

Russell T Davies has criticised BBC director general Matt Brittin for describing an AI-generated episode of Doctor Who as pretty good. During an interview on BBC Radio 4’s The Media Show, Davies labelled the remarks clumsy. While Brittin suggested that such content was impressive, Davies clarified that AI is not going to replace humans, asserting that everyone is a creator. These comments emerge amidst ongoing industry debates regarding the usage of AI within the entertainment sector.
