Section of major route to close for repair works

Severn Trent Water has announced that a section of a major route will close for repair works, with 24-hour road closures expected to last five days. Simultaneously, a section of the Metro will close for track replacement. This Metro closure is scheduled to occur during the half term period, coinciding with the closure of the Tyne Bridge. Both infrastructure projects will result in temporary access restrictions for commuters and motorists across the affected regional networks.
