Skies across the UK illuminated by the northern lights

The aurora borealis illuminated UK skies on Friday and Saturday, reaching as far south as Devon, Hampshire and Kent. Sky-gazers witnessed a dazzling natural phenomenon featuring pink, purple and yellow hues. Following a forecast from the Met Office, reports indicate that some areas could experience these lights for three more nights. The display captivated observers across the country, bringing the northern lights to regions far beyond the Arctic Circle during the weekend events.
