South Africa v Australia: third men’s cricket Test, day five – live

South Africa secured a 2-1 three-test series victory over Australia with a 176-run win at Newlands. Simon Harmer led the attack, claiming a career-best six for 16 to trigger an Australian collapse. Early wickets of Matt Renshaw and Marnus Labuschagne set the tone. Despite a 90-ball resistance from Pat Cummins and an unbeaten 33 by Nathan Lyon, Simon Harmer's dismissal of Josh Hazlewood sealed the result, allowing South Africa to regain the top spot in Test rankings.
