The USS Abraham Lincoln arrives in Thailand following its Middle East deployment

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier has arrived in eastern Thailand, docking in the resort town of Pattaya. This visit follows a demanding deployment in the Middle East, during which the vessel spent over 200 days at sea. In anticipation of the U.S. Navy ship's arrival, local authorities in Pattaya announced a crackdown on prostitution within the resort area to manage the impact of the visiting personnel on the local community.
