'Uneventful' budget draws mixed reaction

The latest budget has drawn mixed reactions, with some measures welcomed while others questioned if households would feel better off. Kenny Mann, a Long Eaton restaurant owner, described the budget as a mixed bag for independent businesses, suggesting that more could have been done to support small firms. Overall, the budget was characterised as uneventful, leaving both small business owners and general households uncertain about the actual impact of the announced financial measures.
