Union calls for halt to graded Ofsted inspections over health concerns

The National Association of Head Teachers is demanding an immediate halt to graded Ofsted inspections in England, claiming the process poses a risk to life. General secretary Paul Whiteman stated the current Ofsted framework is more stressful than previous versions. A survey revealed nearly three quarters of school leaders believe the inspection direction has worsened over the past year. These warnings follow an incident where a North West headteacher required urgent hospitalisation during an inspection process.
