Wife 'raped in her home by husband and string of other men was given potentially fatal cocktail of 11 drugs to sedate her'

Nine men are currently on trial for sexual offences against a woman who was drugged by her husband over a period of 20 years. The court heard that the victim was raped in her home by her husband and a string of other men. Evidence indicates she was administered a potentially fatal cocktail of 11 different drugs to sedate her, which the court stated could have resulted in her death during these prolonged attacks.
