Windmill's sails to be removed due to damage

The sails and cap of Ellis Mill, an 18th Century windmill located in Lincoln, are scheduled for removal due to existing damage. The structure is currently listed on the Historic England at-risk register. In response, local residents have launched a campaign to secure the necessary funds to restore the windmill sails before they are placed into storage, aiming to preserve the historic landmark and prevent further deterioration of the site's critical components.
